On Sunday 25 April 2010 I was appointed as one of four churchwardens for Holy Trinity Coventry, a medieval Anglican church located right in the heart of Coventry, running five Sunday services and four mid-week services for varieties of ages ranging from 0 to 100+.
Churchwardens occupy a complicated and curious position - curious both legally and in terms of oversight - at the centre of a church's activity, and it takes a fair while for a new churchwarden to figure out what it is all about. This blog is all about my experiences clambering up the learning curve of "how to be a church warden".
As from 17th March 2013 I stepped down as churchwarden (because of this). So now this is the blog of someone learning how to be an ex-churchwarden.
