Clambering up the learning curve

Last Sunday (25 April 2010) I was elected to be one of four church wardens at my Anglican church. (When I write "elected", that is a bit of an exaggeration. There were four vacancies and just four candidates, so no votes were counted in the process of turning me into a church warden.) I gather that the job of church warden is varied, complex, and quite challenging; people say it takes about a year to learn what is really going on. So I decided to take advantage of this new experience, by also learning how to write a blog, simultaneously with clambering up the learning curve of "how to be a church warden". That's what this blog will be all about.
